Tired of waiting, Mr.Anil Ambani, took a small kitty of $300 Million (small change, if you ask me), walked up and tapped Hollywood on its shoulder and said "Hey, get your A-list actors. We are going to make a movie and if you have any doubts as to who you are speaking to, why don't you google up Reliance and get your answers."

Come May 19th, and RELIANCE BIG ENTERTAINMENT, the entertainment wing of ADAG is going to announce in Cannes (where else, buddy, where else?) about its foray into producing THREE Hollywood Productions, so help me God.
It is even planning to rope in ANGELINA JOLIE to make the official announcement on behalf of ADAG.( You can read that again if you want, it is true).
And the most delectable part is the Actors they are eyeing on. TOM CRUISE and GEORGE CLOONEY, for starters. Ah.

It was not so long ago that GEORGE SOROS purportedly invested $100 Million in RBE, and there are also talks of planning to raise $5 BILLION from a 10pc stake sale. So, there, you have an idea.
And in keeping in tune with the Juggernaut style of overwhelming the target business, Reliance has already moved into the West Coast, ladies and Gentlemen.
More than 200-plus theaters, as far as the leading financial dailies report, have been taken over by Anil Bhai to screen Bollywood and other regional languages from India.
Think about it.
200-plus multiplexes / theaters already acquired in New York, New jersey, Atlanta, Detroit, San Jose, Washington and Seattle. By an INDIAN Company.
To screen INDIAN Movies.
Phew.
This is unprecedented, to say the least.
But, above all the euphoria,one cant help but think about an incremental encouragement (am talking about financial volume here) by ADLABS in India itself,amongst the young and upcoming talented breed of Directors, brimming with wild, whacky and financially viable ideas.
Either ways, its a huge gameplan for ADAG.
