Judges’ Restoration Not Personal Battle: Iftekhar

NEWYORK: The deposed Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftekhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that the restoration and reinstatement of Judges was not his personal ego however he was battling for the sovereignty and supremacy of constitution and the struggle would continue until justice is acquired. During a telephonic conference in America, Chaudhry Iftekhar said that no society can sustain prosperity in absence of justice therefore would remain committed as long as he succeeded. The former Attorney General of America Ramzi Clark, member Senate Cravel and Agha Saeed Afzal of American Muslim Alliance also witnessed the conference. Commending the tireless efforts of deposed Chief Justice, Ramzi Clark said that the American lawyers hold up in Pakistan lawyers’ movement.
