Robbers loot cash, valuables worth millions Monday, July 21, 2008 By Our Correspondent LAHORE Dacoits continue their looting-spree in the provincial metropolis, as they looted Sunday valuables including cash, gold ornaments and vehicles worth millions of rupees. Four armed dacoits snatched a pick-up, cash and a cell phone, worth Rs 13, 45,000, from a citizen in the jurisdiction of Gujarpura police station. The victim Ahsan Qadar, a resident of Faisal Park China Scheme, was on his way when four armed dacoits approached him and deprived him of the vehicle bearing number LEX-5350, cash and a cell phone. Two armed dacoits broke into an electronics shop in the jurisdiction of Misri Shah police station and looted Rs 45,000 and a cell phone. The victim Abid Aziz was present at his shop when two armed motorcycle riders came there, made him hostage at gunpoint and looted Rs 45,000 in cash and a cell phone. Two armed dacoits deprived a citizen of his motorcycle, Rs 5,000 in cash and two cell phones in the limits of Shahdara police station. The victim Mohammad Saleem, a resident of Shahdara, was on his way on his motorcycle when two armed dacoits intercepted him and snatched the vhcile, cash and two cell phones.
