All attention will be on series against India: Intikhab

LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team coach Intikhab Alam said that all his attention would be focused on the series against India. Talking with media here at the Gaddafi Stadium on Monday, Intikhab Alam said that he would review the performance of the players in the Pentangular Cup so that a good team could be formed for the series against the West Indies in Abu Dhabi. He said that the training camp would not be organized due to involvement of the players in domestic cricket. Intikhab Alam said that his first target is the continuation in the performance of the players and formation of a winning combination and he would not compromise anything on discipline. The coach of the national team said that the non-availability of super stars is not a problem. If the players are talented and they play with responsibility and confidence then they can grab successes. He said that Mohammad Asif is a talented cricketer while Shoaib Akhtar needs love and attention and if he is fit he can play for further two to three years for the national team.
