LAHORE: The number of patients suffering from dengue fever has climbed to over 1000 here on Monday.
According to official figures, dengue patients in Punjab have risen to 1050, majority of them hails form the provincial capital.
More patients were brought to various government hospitals in Lahore with the complaints of high fever on Sunday. Their blood samples were taken and sent to laboratories for the verification.
Meanwhile, District Administration has stepped up anti-mosquito drive in the city.
