30k Pakistanis to be employed in Qatar

ISLAMABAD: At least 30,000 Pakistanis would be sent to Qatar for employment purposes, according to an agreement reached between Pakistan and Qatar. Pakistani Labour Minister Syed Khurshid Shah and his Qatari counterpart signed the manpower agreement here. Talking to media after the agreement, the federal minister said Qatar needs trained manpower and Pakistani nationals having technical expertise in health, IT and engineering will be sent to Qatar. Khurshid Shah said he would soon visit Qatar to hammer out further affairs regarding manpower. Regarding hajj, the federal minister said the expenditures for the hajj are expected to increase this year and he is going to Saudi Arabia on Monday for the hajj arrangements.
