Asif gives Daredevils an edge

EW DELHI: Legendary fast bowler Dennis Lillee is still an inspiration for upcoming generations and Pakistani speedster Mohammad Asif is one of them. Now the two are on the same side in the Indian Premier League offence and share a dressing room. Asif is one of bowling spearheads of Delhi Daredevils team and Lillee their mentor. While Asif is elated at having Lillee to guide him, hehas another legend, Glenn McGrath, to share the new ball with. Lillee feels Asif’s presence will give Delhi an edge. “We have a very good bowling line-up. I have always maintained it even before Asif joined us. But now his presence will definitely be an added boost.”
