Taliban claim kidnapping of Pakistan`s ambassad to Afghanistan


Islamabad-Local Taliban leaders in Pakistan claimed they have kidnapped the Pakistan`s ambassador to Afghanistan, and are prepared to exchange him for a prominent militant commander captured by Pakistani security forces.Mr Tariq Azizuddin went missing two days ago while driving from Peshawar to Kabul.According a report Taliban are offering to swap the ambassador for Mullah Mansoor Dadullah, a senior Taliban commander captured by Pakistani security forces earlier this week from Quetta.A spokesman for Pakistan’s interior ministry says he is aware of the media reports of the exchange offer, but has heard nothing directly from the Taliban.Political administration officials said they had received reports that Azizuddin’s vehicle had been found in Taghyan area of Landi Kotal, after a daylong search operation by tribal police (Khasadars) and Levies.
