Online system for sales tax in offing

PESHAWAR: Federal board of Revenue is commencing an online system for receiving the sales tax. Addressing traders and industrialists at Sarhad Chamber of commerce, FBR Chairman Abdullah Yousuf said the software of online system to receive the sales tax is being prepared, after which the taxpayers will be able to submit the sales tax online and they can check their account as well. Responding a query, he said negotiations would be held with National Bank to increase the timings as a facility to the taxpayers. On this occasion, the traders apprised FBR chairman of their problems.
