Wags in fact insist that the ‘saas bahu’ story in the Bachchan family has now emulated the stories that appear in our ‘saas bahu’ serials as both Jaya Bhaduri Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are not on proper talking terms. While they do exchange pleasantries while on a public platform to tell the world that all’s well, it is not true that all is well at home. “It may not be true at all,” says a source close to the Bachchans though. “Both Jaya and Aishwarya are not talking because they may not have met. We have seen them interact at Jalsa (the second Bachchan bungalow) and it does not seem true at all. Kansas Bishop Takes on Obama’s Pawn (business news)

Tony Perkins, FRC Update: While no date has been set yet for nomination hearings on Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius to become the new Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary, the opposition outside of Congress is growing fast. Today Governor Sebelius’ own archbishop, Joseph Naumann, expressed his disappointment that the pro-abortion Catholic Mrs. Sebelius is being selected to take charge of U.S. health policy. This is not the first time Archbishop Naumann has publicly rebuked Governor Sebelius for her strong support of abortion. Last year he took the extraordinary step of asking her to refrain from taking communion in the “hope that it would motivate Governor Sebelius to reconsider her support for what is an intrinsic evil — the destruction of innocent human life by abortion” and “to protect others from being misled by the Governor’s public support and advocacy for legalized abortion.” Unfortunately, among those being misled are many Republican senators who are putting political motivations in front of standing up for what is right. Governor Sebelius is also coming under fire in her home state for both cutting a deal that benefited a political crony of hers to the tune of $700,000 in taxpayer funds and for diverting money from programs that support pregnant women and towards groups like Planned Parenthood. Governor Sebelius has proven she is unfit to be HHS Secretary yet for the most part the U.S. Senate is quiet. Please contact senators today to oppose her nomination.
